The X in a Box
The historic Ladd’s Addition neighborhood is known for its “X in a box” street grid and fabulous Arts and Crafts houses. This is Portland’s first Historic Conservation District and in many ways represents the Portland standard for a walk/bike friendly neighborhood with tree lined streets, parks, churches and neighborhood school.
