Historic Mt Tabor Walking Tour

Exploring the Historic Residential Fabric of Iconic Mt Tabor

Before the electric streetcar made most of the east side of the Willamette River available for residential development, this neighborhood was mostly farms, orchards and forest.

In the early decades of the 20th century this neighborhood was built up with a blend of spacious and elegant Craftsman and Colonial Revival residences.

On this tour we’ll explore the historic residential fabric on the west slope of the iconic Mt Tabor.
