Precariously Built with Great Views
Explore the site and learn the history of the OHSU medical center which is precariously built on top of a ridge with great views but very challenging access.
We’ll walk the campus and see some architectural highlights and enjoy a number of stunning views before catching the tram back to the starting point. There are some stairs on this tour but the total walking distance is less than two miles
The South Waterfront area is served by TriMet bus service, the Portland Streetcar and the Orange Max. If you must drive your car, there is a parking garage near the tram and some on street metered parking. Give yourself time to find a place to park!
